Around 3pm in the afternoon everyone wakes up from their naps and gets back to work. Business is usually slow for the shopkeepers on my street before dinner time (most students are in class) so a lot of them like to play mah jong together outside their stores. If someone comes into their store during this time, they will get up and help you, but they always seem to be very eager to get back to their game.
