I don’t really know what these are or want to know what these are, but every house in the countryside has a small, square concrete pond filled with water. I thought this one was especially picturesque in a gross way. One thing that really started to bother me over this trip was how much trash was thrown around all over famous scenic areas in China. The mountains in Yangshuo were amazing, but it wasn’t ideal to see so much pollution and trash everywhere.
